Casen’s 1 Nap Schedule

One of the most common questions I get is about Casen’s nap schedules so I thought I would start sharing them here! Honestly, this will help me a lot too so I can refer back to whenever we have baby #2 ☺️ I have shared this so many times on my Instagram, but right before we had Casen, Chris & I took the @takingcarababies Newborn Course and it helped prepare us SO MUCH. I recommend it to all my expecting mama friends. It’s full of great sleep tips and even has sample schedules based on your little one’s age that we found to be so helpful. Cara also shares a lot of baby sleep info on her instagram, which is what I usually refer to when coming up with Casen’s schedules!

He officially dropped to one nap around 15 months old which I have been loving! I feel like we can get so much more done in the day with him now, since he only has one nap from about 12-2. Our goal is to get him to take a 3 hour nap, but we are still working on that! We knew he was ready to drop to one nap when he started refusing to take his second nap. I waited probably 2 weeks though until we started skipping it just to make sure he was actually ready! During those couple weeks, I was also pushing back his first nap little by little until he was able to make it to about 11:30 (with the goal being 12pm). Here’s his current 16m schedule:

Wake up - 7:30am

Breakfast - 8am

Milk - 8:30am

Snack - 10am

Lunch - 11:30am

Nap - 12pm

Wake up + Snack - 2 or 2:30 (our goal is 3pm!)

Milk - 2:30 or 3pm

Dinner - 5pm

Milk - 6:30 pm

Bed - 7pm
